About Us and Our Mission

The Skagway Village does business as (dba) Skagway Traditional Council and is a federally recognized Tribal Government for Skagway Tlingit & Haida Indians, Alaska Natives & American Indians located in the Skagway Traditional Council service area. 

Our mission at the Skagway Traditional Council is to nurture, educate, and protect our tribal members by preserving cultural heritage, natural resources, improving partnerships and economic stability, while upholding tribal sovereignty.
